The beginning of a special journey

Sixteen years ago, a journey I never would have expected began. On the streets of Ibiza, I met Rolf, a man in a wheelchair who lived alone and without prospects. A brief conversation developed into a deep friendship. I accompanied him for six years, helping him take control of his life again.

But what I didn't know was that Rolf would give me the greatest gift. One day, he introduced me to a rescued dog and her puppies. I had never thought about a dog, but there she was – Sunny. She looked at me as if she knew she belonged with me. From that moment on, Sunny was more than just a dog – she was my shadow, my companion, my inspiration.

Flying Dog was born from this special connection. Sunny was by my side for 15 years, and together we tested the first products. Everything I developed was meant to make her happy—it was never about money, but about creating something unique that reflected our deep connection.

But then came the day I never expected—and could never have prevented. Sunny passed away, just ten days before Flying Dog was supposed to officially launch online. It was as if she had dedicated all her strength to seeing me through to that moment. As if she had waited for me to be ready to continue my journey without her. Sunny may no longer be with me, but her love and energy live on in every product.

Today, Flying Dog is more than just a brand—it's a mission. Our products, from luxurious dog beds to elegant dog carriers, are available in numerous well-known retailers. We have agreements with Fressnapf, Zooplus France, and Home24, allowing us to share our story and our products with the world.

Flying Dog is a promise: every friendship, every love and every connection lives on forever.

Flying Dog wurde 2022 von Svetlana Huber gegründet und wird in Deutschland entwickelt. Die Marke gehört der United Trade GmbH mit Sitz in Meerbusch. Unsere Produkte sind in ausgewählten Fachgeschäften in Deutschland und Österreich sowie online bei Fressnapf und Zooplus Frankreich erhältlich.

Flying Dog erschien in den Ausgaben April, Mai und Juni 2026 der British Vogue im gekennzeichneten Advertising Feature "Dressed to the Canines". Das Magazin DOGS – vom Glück, mit Hund zu leben testete das orthopädische Hundebett Henri in Ausgabe 2/2025 (März/April) im Produkttest "Das ist mein Safe Space".

Die Wort-Bild-Marke FLYING DOG ist seit 2023 beim Deutschen Patent- und Markenamt eingetragen.
